August Burns Red zapowiada nową wersję “Thrill Seeker”!
2025 January 4 | SylwiaFormacja August Burns Red ma za sobą już ponad dwadzieścia lat kariery na metalcore’owej scenie. Nic więc dziwnego w tym, że ich dyskografia jest dosyć obszerna i zawiera aż dziesięć wydawnictw z czego ostatnie pt. “Death Below” pochodzi z 2023 roku. Dziś jednak skupimy się na debiutanckim krążku amerykanów wydanym w 2005 roku. Płyta zatytułowana “Thrill Seeker”, która jest jedynym materiałem wydanym przez zespół z Josh’em McManness’em w roli wokalisty już w najbliższym czasie doczeka się swojej re-edycji. Wersja celebrująca dwudziestolecie tego longplay’a “Thrill Seeker The 20th anniversary edition” będzie zawierać nowe wersje utworów, w których za mikrofonem znalazł się obecny frontman August Burns Red, Jake Luhrs.
Jake o nowej wersji debiutu: “When I joined the band in early 2006, I often spoke about how I’d love to do vocals on a studio recording of Thrill Seeker […] I did the majority of the touring on the album and always felt a deep connection to it. As the 20 year anniversary of the album approached, we decided to finally give Thrill Seeker a facelift. It was such a rewarding experience to dust these songs off and give them new life. This album changed the course of my life and I can’t wait for fans to hear this.”
Poniżej przypominamy track listę krążka (mamy tutaj jeden utwór więcej niż w 2005 roku) i przedstawiamy nową okładkę stworzoną na jego potrzeby. W odtwarzaczu znajdziecie również pierwszy fragment wspominanego materiału, kawałek “Your Little Suburbia Is in Ruins”.
