The Pretty Wild przedstawiają nowy singiel pt. “Button Eyes”.

Siostrzany metalcore’owy duet The Pretty Wild, który niedawno dołączył do grona wykonawców Sumerian Records opublikował właśnie swój najnowszy singiel. Kawałek zatytułowany “Button Eyes” jest kolejną nowością po świetnie przyjętym ubiegłorocznym numerze “sLeepwALkeR”. Najnowszy numer znajdziecie oczywiście w poniższym odtwarzaczu. Tymczasem my przypominamy również iż w ostatnim czasie siostry Wylde dołączyły także do Kittie i Diamante w coverze “The Unforgiven”. Nowa wersja utworu grupy Metallica powstała na potrzeby soundtrack’a do filmu “Queen Of The Ring”.

“This song is for anyone who’s ever felt objectified, used or controlled. It’s about the moment you consciously break free from manipulation and you sever ties with that toxicity for good. We used dolls as a vessel for this theme, mostly as a way to blend playful melodies and imagery in a way that lightens a heavy conversation topic.”

Jyl:

“‘Button Eyes’ explores the theme of disillusionment with life and the process of reclaiming personal power. The song cheekily pokes at the painful process of breaking free from the misleading beliefs that held us back and stepping into our truth. Essentially empowering ourselves by rejecting disempowering narratives that were imposed upon us. Personally, I love this one because it comes across fun, poppy, and superficial, but the irony in it, is that it’s the juxtaposition of all that at its core.”
